Antigall 150 contains Ursodeoxycholic Acid, which reduces the production and secretion of cholesterol into bile and decreases intestinal cholesterol absorption. This lowers cholesterol saturation in bile and gradually promotes the dissolution of cholesterol-rich gallstones.
It also increases bile flow and helps protect liver cells and bile duct cells from the harmful effects of toxic bile acids. These actions support bile flow and may help improve liver function and liver enzyme abnormalities in certain cholestatic liver conditions.

Antigall 150 contains Ursodeoxycholic Acid, a naturally occurring bile acid used in the management of certain cholesterol-rich gallstones and Primary Biliary Cirrhosis (PBC). It helps reduce cholesterol saturation in bile, thereby promoting the gradual dissolution of cholesterol-based gallstones.
Antigall 150 may also be used to help prevent gallstone formation in selected patients undergoing rapid weight loss. In children aged 6 to less than 18 years with cystic fibrosis, Ursodeoxycholic Acid may be prescribed for associated liver and biliary disease.
The medicine should be used under medical supervision. The dose and duration depend on the patient's body weight, age, and medical condition. Antigall 150 should be taken regularly for the prescribed duration, which may extend for several months or longer. Treatment should not be stopped simply because symptoms improve or gallstones appear to have dissolved.
Tell your doctor about all medicines and supplements you are taking. Ursodeoxycholic Acid may interact with:
Antigall 150 should be used cautiously in patients with liver disease.
During treatment:
Antigall 150 should be used during pregnancy only when clearly considered necessary by a doctor. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or become pregnant during treatment.
It is not fully established whether Ursodeoxycholic Acid passes into human breast milk. Therefore, breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before using Antigall 150.
Antigall 150 may be prescribed for certain liver and biliary conditions in children, including liver disease associated with cystic fibrosis in children aged 6 to less than 18 years. It should only be used in children under medical supervision.
It should not be used in children with certain conditions associated with inadequate bile flow or biliary obstruction unless specifically prescribed by a specialist.
Antigall 150 may be used in elderly patients when prescribed by a physician. Dose selection should take the patient's medical condition and other relevant precautions into account.
Adults: The usual dose is 8–12 mg/kg/day, taken once daily at bedtime or in 2 divided doses.
Treatment may continue for up to 2 years, depending on the size and response of the gallstones. Treatment is generally continued for several months after radiological disappearance of the stones.
Obese patients: The dose may be increased to 15 mg/kg/day when considered appropriate by the physician.
Adults: 10–16 mg/kg/day, administered in 2–4 divided doses. After the initial treatment period, once-daily evening administration may be considered according to the physician's advice.
Adults: 300 mg twice daily.
Children aged 6 to less than 18 years: The dose should be determined by the physician according to body weight and clinical condition.
If you forget to take a dose, take it when you remember unless it is nearly time for your next dose. If it is close to the next scheduled dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Do not take two doses together to compensate for a missed dose.
Store in a cool, dry place and protect from light. Keep out of the reach of children.
