Losectil 20mg Oral Powder is suitable for pregnant and nursing women, but should only be used after contacting a doctor. If you have stomach or intestinal cancer, a liver condition, are allergic to Losectil 20mg Oral Powder or are scheduled for an endoscopy in the near future, notify your doctor.
Ask your doctor if you should stop using Losectil 20mg Oral Powder a few weeks before your endoscopy because it may conceal some of the issues that an endoscopy would reveal. Prolonged usage of Losectil 20mg Oral Powder may increase the risk of osteoporosis-related fractures of the hip, wrist, or spine owing to magnesium depletion. Due to a significant medication interaction, avoid using Losectil 20mg Oral Powder with St John's Wort (plant-based antidepressant), rifampin (antibiotic), and methotrexate (anti-cancer and anti-arthritis therapy).
Losectil 20mg Oral Powder should be not given in patients with C. difficile-induced colitis, liver disease, bone fractures, low Vitamin B12 (anemia), and low magnesium (hypomagnesemia).
Losectil 20mg Oral Powder may interact with a blood thinner (clopidogrel, warfarin), antifungal (ketoconazole, voriconazole, itraconazole, posaconazole), anti-HIV medication (atazanavir, nelfinavir), iron supplements, antibiotic (ampicillin, rifampicin), heart medication (digoxin), and anti-cancer medication. (methotrexate). Inform your doctor if you are using any of these medications.
Omeprazole is not recommended for patients who have a known hypersensitivity to any of the formulation's ingredients.
