Mirogabalin selectively binds to the α2δ subunits of voltage-gated calcium channels (VGCCs) in the nervous system. This reduces calcium influx and the release of certain neurotransmitters involved in transmitting pain signals, helping relieve neuropathic pain.
- Mirogabalin may cause dizziness, drowsiness, or impaired consciousness. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how the medicine affects you.
