✔️ Dosage & Administration:

Adult Dose:

• Initial dose: 5 mg twice daily.
• Gradually increase by 5 mg each week up to 15 mg twice daily.
• Adjust dose between 10 mg and 15 mg twice daily depending on age and symptoms.

Use in Children and Adolescents: Safety and efficacy not established.

Hepatic Impairment: No significant adverse reactions for mild to moderate impairment. No data for severe hepatic impairment.

Renal Impairment:

• Mild: Start with 5 mg twice a day, increase to 10 mg.
• Moderate: Start with 2.5 mg twice a day, increase to 7.5 mg.
• Severe: Start with 2.5 mg once a day, increase to 7.5 mg.

✔️ Side Effects:

• Common: Somnolence, dizziness, edema, weight gain.
• Rare: Liver dysfunction (loss of appetite, jaundice, nausea), and loss of consciousness.

✔️ Interactions:

• With Medicines: Co-administration with Cimetidine or Probenecid may raise plasma concentration.
• CNS Depressive Effects: If combined with Lorazepam, may increase sedative effects.
• Drug Transporters: Numira is a substrate for several transporters; avoid using with inhibitors of OAT1, OAT3, OCT2, MATE1, MATE2-K, or UGT as it may increase exposure.
• Food & Alcohol: No clinically relevant effect with food. Avoid alcohol as it may increase sedative effects.

✔️ Contraindications:

• Hypersensitivity to Mirogabalin.
• Mild to moderate hepatic and renal impairment.

✔️ Pregnancy & Lactation:

• Pregnancy: Use only if the benefit outweighs risks.
• Lactation: May transfer into breast milk, consider the benefits of breastfeeding before discontinuation.

✔️ Precautions & Warnings:

• May cause dizziness, somnolence, or loss of consciousness. Avoid dangerous activities like driving.
• Can cause weight gain, blurred vision, and double vision.
• Elderly patients should be cautious of falling and fractures.
• Dose adjustment needed in patients with renal dysfunction.
• Consult with a doctor before using with other medications.
