Avoid combining Glucozid MR 60mg Tablet with Miconazole (for infections) as it may induce low blood sugar and even coma. Also, concurrent usage with Phenylbutazone is discouraged.
Pregnant women should avoid taking gliclazide. It should not be used by a mother who is breastfeeding.
Exercise caution when using Gliclazide in patients with liver issues. If there's evident liver disease, avoid Gliclazide use. It's safe in renal insufficiency due to extensive metabolism. Gliclazide has a lower incidence of sudden hypoglycemia compared to other sulfonylureas.
