Ursodeoxycholic Acid, commonly known as Udiliva 300 is a naturally occurring bile acid produced in small amounts by the liver. It is used to manage various liver and gallbladder disorders, including primary biliary cirrhosis (PBC), primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC), cholesterol-based gallstones, and certain liver complications associated with cystic fibrosis.
Udiliva 300 works mainly by reducing the amount of cholesterol in bile, making it less likely for cholesterol to form gallstones and helping improve bile flow. It also replaces more harmful bile acids, helps protect liver cells, and supports normal bile movement.
Treatment with Udiliva 300 may need to continue for several months or longer, depending on the condition being treated. The dose is generally determined according to the patient’s condition and body weight. It should be taken exactly as prescribed by a doctor.

✔️ When should Ursodeoxycholic Acid / Udiliva 300 not be used?
Do not use this medicine without medical advice if you have:
- Blockage of the bile duct
- Allergy or hypersensitivity to Ursodeoxycholic Acid or any of its ingredients
- Acute inflammation of the gallbladder or bile duct
- Impaired gallbladder contractility
- An active gastric or duodenal ulcer

Diarrhea is the most likely symptom of an Udiliva 300 overdose. If you have taken more than the prescribed dose, contact your doctor or seek medical attention promptly.
