Treatment of -
Maxpro 40mg Tablet belongs to a proton pump inhibitor that suppresses gastric acid secretion by specific inhibition of enzymes in the stomach cell. It hence reduces gastric acidity by blocking the final step in acid production and helps in the relief of acid-related indigestion and heartburn.
Maxpro 40mg Tablet is indicated:
The H+/K+ ATPase in the gastric parietal cell is inhibited by the proton pump inhibitor esomeprazole, which reduces the amount of stomach acid produced. Esomeprazole (omeprazole's S-isomer), the first proton pump inhibitor with a single optical isomer, offers better acid control than racemic proton pump inhibitors.
