COPD (≥1% incidence): Upper respiratory infections, pneumonia, bronchitis, oral thrush, headache, back pain, joint pain, flu-like symptoms, sinusitis, pharyngitis, rhinitis, taste changes, constipation, urinary infections, diarrhea, gastroenteritis, throat pain, cough, voice changes
Asthma (≥2% incidence): Pharyngitis, upper respiratory infections, bronchitis, sinusitis, urinary infections, rhinitis, flu, headache, back pain
Strong CYP3A4 inhibitors (e.g., ketoconazole): May increase steroid and cardiovascular effects
Monoamine oxidase inhibitors / tricyclic antidepressants: Use with caution due to vascular effects
Beta-blockers: May block bronchodilation and trigger bronchospasm
Diuretics: May worsen hypokalemia or ECG changes
Other anticholinergics: Avoid concurrent use to prevent additive effects
Acute asthma or COPD exacerbations requiring intensive treatment
Severe hypersensitivity to milk proteins or any component of the capsule
Important: Do not swallow the capsule; use only with the inhaler device.
Remove the capsule from the blister pack immediately before use.
Rinse your mouth with water after inhalation to reduce the risk of oral thrush.
Adults (≥18 years):
COPD: 1 capsule inhaled once daily
Asthma: 1 capsule inhaled once daily
Use at the same time each day.
For sudden symptoms, use a short-acting beta-2 agonist (SABA).
Do not use for acute asthma or COPD attacks
LABA monotherapy increases the risk of serious asthma events
Avoid combining with other LABA-containing treatments
Candida infections: Rinse mouth after inhalation
Pneumonia risk: Monitor COPD patients for infection
Paradoxical bronchospasm: Discontinue if it occurs
Use with caution in patients with cardiovascular disease, urinary retention, prostatic hyperplasia, convulsive disorders, thyrotoxicosis, diabetes, or ketoacidosis
