✅ Description:
Cardicor contains Bisoprolol Fumarate, a highly selective β1-adrenergic blocker. It reduces heart rate and cardiac output, thereby lowering blood pressure and myocardial oxygen demand. Unlike non-selective beta blockers, it does not adversely affect lipid profile, including HDL cholesterol.

Fatigue, dizziness, headache
Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or constipation
Cold or numb hands and feet
Muscle weakness or cramps
Bradycardia, bronchospasm (especially in asthma or COPD)
✔️ Dosage & Administration
Usual starting dose: 5 mg once daily
May be increased to 10–20 mg once daily if required
Dose titration interval: 2 weeks
Dose adjustment is usually not required in the elderly unless renal or hepatic impairment exists

- Cardiogenic shock
- Overt heart failure
- Second or third-degree AV block
- Sinus bradycardia
- Right ventricular failure due to pulmonary hypertension

Use during pregnancy only if clearly needed. Breastfeeding should be discontinued if treatment is essential.
✔️ Precautions
Use with caution in renal or hepatic impairment, asthma, COPD, and patients with a history of severe allergic reactions.
