Alfumax ER Tablet contains Alfuzosin that works by blocking the receptors (alpha 1) on the prostate gland, bladder, and urethra (urine pipe). Alfumax ER relaxes the muscles of the bladder and prostate; this reduces the narrowing of the urethra. Thereby helps in relieving the symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia and makes it easier to pass urine.
