Uses

Lindamax Plus Gel manages acne in adults and adolescents aged 12 years or older.

Mechanism of Action

• Clindamycin stops the growth and multiplication of acne-causing bacteria on the skin.
• Tretinoin prevents the clogging of skin pores with sebum and dead skin cells, helping the skin renew itself more quickly.

Overdosage:

Excessive application may cause skin irritation, redness, and dryness. If this occurs, rinse your skin with warm water and stop using Lindamax Plus Gel temporarily. Consult your doctor if the irritation persists. Excessive use may also cause stomach pain, diarrhea, nausea, or vomiting; contact your doctor immediately if this happens.

Managing Side Effects

• For skin rash: Avoid hot showers, do not scratch the affected area, use protective clothing outdoors, and consult your doctor for a suitable moisturizer.
• For sensitivity to sunlight: Avoid direct sunlight, use protective clothing, and consult your doctor about using sunscreen.

Directions for Use

• Always use Lindamax Plus Gel as directed by your physician. For external use only. Wash the affected area with warm water before application and pat it dry. Apply a thin layer of Lindamax Plus Gel on the affected area. Allow the medicine to dry completely on your skin before applying any makeup products or cosmetics.
• Avoid contact with eyes, ears, mouth, or vagina. Your doctor will decide the duration of therapy depending on your skin condition.

Pediatric and Geriatric Use

• Pediatrics: Not recommended for children under 12 years due to lack of safety data. Consult your doctor before using in children aged 12 years or older.
• Geriatrics: Use with caution in elderly patients. Consult your doctor before using.

Drug Interactions

Inform your doctor if you are using:

• Skincare products contain sulfur, salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide, alcohol, astringents, spices, or lime.
• Chemical abrasives like glycolic acid, salicylic acid, alpha hydroxy acids, and beta-hydroxy acids.
• Medicated soaps, cleansers, or scrubbing solutions.
• Anti-infectives like erythromycin, metronidazole, streptomycin, gentamicin, kanamycin.
• Corticosteroids like betamethasone, and beclomethasone.
• Muscle relaxants like vecuronium, rocuronium.
• Warfarin.

Warnings & Precautions

• Pregnancy: Not recommended. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant. Use contraceptives to avoid pregnancy during treatment.
• Breastfeeding: Not recommended. Consult your doctor before using.
• Allergy: Do not use if allergic to Tretinoin, Clindamycin, or Lincomycin.
• Other Conditions: Not recommended for use if you have chronic inflammatory bowel disease, a history of colitis with antibiotics, a family history of skin cancer, acute eczema, rosacea, folliculitis, or perioral dermatitis. Consult your doctor before using if you have any skin inflammation, irritation, or photosensitivity, or if you have an upcoming surgery.
