✔️ Dosage & Administration of QTP XR 50

তীব্র ও দীর্ঘমেয়াদি সাইকোসিস (যেমন Schizophrenia):
Quetiapine দিনে ২ বার খাওয়া যায়, খাবারের সাথে বা ছাড়া।

• প্রথম ৪ দিনের ডোজ:
  • Day 1: 50 mg
  • Day 2: 100 mg
  • Day 3: 200 mg
  • Day 4: 300 mg
• এরপর ডোজ ধীরে ধীরে বাড়িয়ে সাধারণ কার্যকর মাত্রা 300–450 mg/দিনে নেওয়া হয়।
• রোগীর প্রতিক্রিয়া ও সহনশীলতা অনুযায়ী এটি 150–750 mg/দিন পর্যন্ত সমন্বয় করা যেতে পারে।

বাইপোলার ডিসঅর্ডারের ম্যানিক এপিসোড (Bipolar Disorder):

• দিনে ২ বার সেবন করা হয় (খাবারের সাথে বা ছাড়া)।
• প্রথম ৪ দিনের ডোজ:
  • Day 1: 100 mg
  • Day 2: 200 mg
  • Day 3: 300 mg
  • Day 4: 400 mg
• Day 6 পর্যন্ত ধীরে ধীরে সর্বোচ্চ 800 mg/দিন পর্যন্ত বাড়ানো যেতে পারে (প্রতিদিন 200 mg-এর বেশি না বাড়ানো ভালো)।
• সাধারণ কার্যকর ডোজ: 400–800 mg/দিন

বাইপোলার ডিপ্রেসিভ এপিসোড:

• দিনে ১ বার, সাধারণত রাতে ঘুমানোর আগে সেবন করা হয়
• প্রথম ৪ দিনের ডোজ:
  • Day 1: 50 mg
  • Day 2: 100 mg
  • Day 3: 200 mg
  • Day 4: 300 mg
• সাধারণ ডোজ: 300 mg/দিন
• প্রয়োজনে Day 5-এ 400 mg এবং Day 8-এ 600 mg পর্যন্ত বাড়ানো যায়
• 300 mg ও 600 mg-এ কার্যকারিতা দেখা গেছে, তবে স্বল্পমেয়াদে 600 mg-এ অতিরিক্ত সুবিধা প্রমাণিত হয়নি

Bipolar I Disorder-এর মেইনটেন্যান্স থেরাপি:

• যেসব রোগী Quetiapine ও mood stabilizer একসাথে নিয়ে উপকার পেয়েছেন, তাদের একই ডোজ চালিয়ে যেতে হয়
• প্রয়োজনে রোগীর অবস্থা অনুযায়ী ডোজ সমন্বয় করা যায়
• সাধারণত দিনে 400–800 mg (২ ভাগে) মুড স্ট্যাবিলাইজারের সাথে ব্যবহার করা হয়

✔️ Drug Interaction

• QTP XR 50 can be taken with or without food.
• It is usually taken 1-3 times a day at the same time each day or as prescribed by your doctor.
• Swallow QTP XR 50 as a whole with a glass of water.
• Do not crush, chew, or break it.

✔️ Safety Information:

• Do not take QTP XR 50Tablet if you are allergic to quetiapine or any ingredients present in it.
• Before taking QTP XR 50 Tablet, inform your doctor if you have low blood pressure, stroke, liver problems, seizures, diabetes, dementia (memory loss), alcohol or drug abuse, sleep apnea (a sleep disorder), or urinary retention.
• Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
• Do not abruptly stop taking the medication, as it may cause withdrawal symptoms, especially suicidal thoughts in young adults.
• Let your doctor know if you are taking any other medicines, including supplements and herbal products.

✔️ Storage:

Store in a cool and dry place away from sunlight
