✔️ Dosage and Administration

• Take the medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
• It may be taken with or without food.
• Swallow the tablet whole with water.
• Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet.
• The usual adult dose for migraine prevention and vestibular disorders is 5–10 mg once daily at bedtime.
• Taking the medication at the same time each day helps maintain consistent drug levels and improve effectiveness.

• Excessive drowsiness

• Valproic acid

Phenytoin, carbamazepine, and valproic acid may reduce Flunarizine levels in the body, potentially decreasing its effectiveness.

Alcohol Interaction

Alcohol should be avoided while taking Rizelium 10 because it may increase drowsiness, dizziness, and impairment of coordination.

✔️ Pregnancy and Breastfeeding

Pregnancy

There is insufficient information regarding the safety of Flunarizine during pregnancy. Its use is generally not recommended unless the potential benefits outweigh the risks.

Breastfeeding

Consult your healthcare provider before using Flunarizine while breastfeeding, as safety data are limited.

✔️ Rizelium 10 should not be used in patients with:

• Known hypersensitivity to Flunarizine
• Current or previous depressive disorders
• Parkinson's disease
• Other extrapyramidal movement disorders
• Acute phase of stroke
• Severe hypotension (low blood pressure)
• Heart failure
• Significant cardiac rhythm abnormalities
• Pregnancy and breastfeeding (unless specifically advised by a physician)
• Gastrointestinal or urinary tract obstruction
• Acute porphyrias

✔️ Use Rizelium 10 cautiously if you:

• Have a history of depression
• Have epilepsy
• Have glaucoma
• Have cardiovascular disease
• Have low blood pressure
• Are elderly as the risk of movement disorders and depression

The medicine can cause drowsiness, particularly at the beginning of treatment. Avoid driving, operating machinery, or performing tasks requiring alertness until you know how it affects you.

Rizelium 10 is intended for migraine prevention and should not be used to treat an active migraine attack.
