Prolific 5000IU Injection

✔️ Adult Dose

• Anovulatory infertility: A single dose of 5,000–10,000 IU may be administered. Up to three additional doses of up to 5,000 IU may be given within the following 9 days when clinically indicated.
• Male infertility due to hypogonadotropic hypogonadism: 500–4,000 IU, 2–3 times weekly, as directed by the physician.
• Prepubertal cryptorchidism: 500–4,000 IU, 3 times weekly. Treatment may continue for 1–2 months after testicular descent.
• Delayed puberty associated with hypogonadism: Initially 500–1,500 IU twice weekly, with the dose adjusted according to plasma testosterone levels.

The exact dose and treatment duration depend on the patient's condition and response to therapy. Use only under the supervision of a qualified healthcare professional.

✔️ Drug Interactions

Specific drug interactions with human chorionic gonadotrophin have not been extensively established, so interactions with commonly used medicines cannot be completely excluded. Inform your doctor about all medicines, supplements, and fertility treatments you are using.

After hCG administration, serum or urine pregnancy tests may remain falsely positive for up to approximately 10 days, because the administered hormone can interfere with hCG-based pregnancy testing.

Compatibility: Do not mix Prolific with other medicinal products unless compatibility has been established by a healthcare professional.

• Precocious puberty in susceptible patients

✔️ Prolific should not be used in patients with:

• Hypersensitivity to hCG or any component of the formulation
• Precocious puberty
• Prostate cancer or other androgen-dependent tumors
• Pregnancy or breastfeeding, unless specifically directed by a specialist

✔️ Use with caution in patients with:

• Cardiac or renal disease
• Epilepsy
• Migraine
• Asthma

Treatment for cryptorchidism should be discontinued if signs of precocious puberty develop. In fertility treatment, careful monitoring is required because hCG may increase the risk of ovarian hyperstimulation.
