It is also used to manage ear infections (such as acute otitis media) and skin and soft tissue infections (such as an abscess or boil) in affected children, and is also indicated for use to manage sexually transmitted diseases (caused by organisms such as Chlamydia trachomatis or Neisseria gonorrhoeae) in the affected child.
