Letroz Tablet is an anti-cancer medication from the aromatase inhibitor group, used to treat breast cancer in postmenopausal women. It works by blocking the aromatase enzyme, which is responsible for producing estrogen. Since estrogen fuels the growth of cancer cells, inhibiting this enzyme helps prevent the growth and spread of the tumor. This action helps slow down or stop the cancer from advancing to other parts of the body.
