✔️ Dosage & Administration Highlights
Take Itracare SB with a full meal. Dose and duration vary by condition:
- Vulvovaginal candidiasis: 130 mg twice daily for 1 day
- Pityriasis versicolor: 65 mg twice daily for 7 days
- Tinea infections: Varies between 65 mg daily for 15–30 days
- Onychomycosis: Continuous or pulse dosing for 2–3 courses
- Systemic infections: 65–130 mg daily to twice daily for 2–8 months
- Safety and efficacy in children have not been established.
✔️ Avoid concurrent use with:
- Terfenadine, astemizole, cisapride
- Simvastatin and other HMG-CoA reductase inhibitors
- Oral midazolam, triazolam
Caution with: rifampin, phenytoin, phenobarbital, digoxin, calcium channel blockers

- Known hypersensitivity
- Severe hepatic impairment
- Concurrent use with terfenadine, astemizole, cisapride, simvastatin, or rifampin
