Aceta 500 | 1 Strip

✔️ Aceta 500 mg is used to manage:

• Fever, common cold, influenza
• Various pains (headache, toothache, earache, body aches, myalgia, neuralgia)
• Menstrual pain (dysmenorrhea), sprains, colic pain, back pain
• Post-surgery and postpartum pain, inflammatory pain
• Post-vaccination pain in children
• Joint pain and stiffness from rheumatic or osteoarthritic conditions

✔️ Side Effects

Mild side effects may include blood-related issues (e.g., thrombocytopenia, neutropenia) and rare allergic reactions, such as skin rashes.

✔️ Overdose of Aceta

Symptoms of overdose include nausea, vomiting, pallor, and abdominal pain. Liver damage may become evident within 12-48 hours, with possible metabolic acidosis or hypoglycemia.

✔️ Aceta Tablets

• Adults: 1-2 tablets every 4-6 hours; maximum of 4 grams (8 tablets) per day.
• Children (6-12 years): ½-1 tablet, 3-4 times daily; long-term use should not exceed 2.6 grams/day.

✔️ Extended-Release Tablets: Aceta

• Adults & Children over 12: 2 tablets, swallowed whole, every 6-8 hours; maximum of 6 tablets per day.

✔️ Syrup/Suspension: Aceta

• Under 3 months: 10 mg/kg 3-4 times daily (reduce to 5 mg/kg if jaundiced).
• 3 months - 1 year: ½-1 teaspoon 3-4 times daily.
• 1-5 years: 1-2 teaspoons 3-4 times daily.
• 6-12 years: 2-4 teaspoons 3-4 times daily.
• Adults: 4-8 teaspoons 3-4 times daily.

✔️ Suppositories: Aceta

• 3-12 months: 60-120 mg, 4 times daily.
• 1-5 years: 125-250 mg, 4 times daily.
• 6-12 years: 250-500 mg, 4 times daily.
• Adults & children over 12: 0.5-1 gram, 4 times daily.

✔️ Aceta 500 mg Tablet with Actizorb Technology

• Adults and Children 12+: 1-2 tablets every 4-6 hours as needed, up to 8 tablets in 24 hours.
• Children (7-11 years): ½-1 tablet every 4-6 hours, up to 4 tablets in 24 hours.

✔️ Pediatric Drops: Aceta

• Up to 3 months: 0.5 ml (40 mg)
• 4-11 months: 1.0 ml (80 mg)
• 1-2 years: 1.5 ml (120 mg)

Note: Do not exceed more than 5 doses daily for a maximum of 5 days.

✔️ Interactions

Aceta 500 mg may have reduced efficacy if taken with barbiturates, tricyclic antidepressants, or alcohol. Chronic use of anticonvulsants or oral contraceptives may reduce Aceta’s therapeutic levels.

✔️ Contraindications

• Not for use in patients with known hypersensitivity to Aceta.

✔️ Pregnancy and Lactation

• Pregnancy: Classified as Category B (safe if necessary). Use during pregnancy only if needed.
• Breastfeeding: Excreted in breast milk but considered safe for nursing infants at normal doses.

✔️ Precautions and Warnings

Use cautiously in patients with liver or kidney issues. Monitor if taken with other liver-affecting medications.

✔️ Storage Conditions

Store in a dry, cool place away from heat and light. Keep out of reach of children.
