✅ Description:
Azmasol contains Salbutamol, a selective β2-adrenergic receptor agonist. It primarily acts on bronchial smooth muscles to produce rapid bronchodilation with minimal cardiac effects.
- Onset: within 5 minutes
- Duration: 4–6 hours
It also stabilizes mast cells, reducing the release of inflammatory mediators such as histamine and prostaglandins.
For acute bronchospasm:
- Adults: 1–2 puffs as needed (maximum 8 puffs/day)
- Children: Half of the adult dose
For prevention (exercise/allergen-induced):
- Adults: 2 puffs 15 minutes before exposure (up to 4 times daily)
- Children: Half of the adult dose
For maintenance therapy:
- Adults: Up to 2 puffs (200 mcg) four times daily
- Children: Same maximum dose as adults
Cleaning:
Clean weekly by rinsing the plastic parts with warm water. Do not immerse the metal canister.

- Shake well before each use
- Exhale fully before inhalation
- Place the mouthpiece between lips and inhale slowly while pressing the canister
- Hold breath for about 10 seconds
- Wait at least 1 minute between puffs
- Rinse mouth after use
