রক্তচাপ কী?
- রক্তচাপ হলো ধমনীর (artery) দেয়ালে রক্তের চাপ।
- এটি দুটি সংখ্যায় প্রকাশ করা হয়, যেমন: 110/60 mmHg
- সিস্টোলিক (উপরের সংখ্যা): হৃদপিণ্ড সংকুচিত হয়ে রক্ত পাম্প করার সময়ের চাপ।
- ডায়াস্টোলিক (নিচের সংখ্যা): দুই হৃদস্পন্দনের মধ্যবর্তী বিশ্রামের সময়ের চাপ।
রক্তচাপ পরিবর্তিত হতে পারে

- কথা বলা বা নড়াচড়া এড়িয়ে চলুন।

- খালি বাহুতে কাফ পরুন।
- কনুইয়ের ভাঁজ থেকে প্রায় ১ ইঞ্চি ওপরে কাফ বসান।
- কাফটি যথেষ্ট আঁটসাঁট করুন।
- START/ON বোতাম চাপুন।
- কাফ নিজে থেকেই ফুলবে ও চাপ মাপবে।
- ফলাফলে সিস্টোলিক, ডায়াস্টোলিক এবং হার্ট রেট দেখাবে।
- ১–২ মিনিট বিরতি দিয়ে প্রয়োজন হলে আবার মাপুন।
শিশুদের ক্ষেত্রে
- স্বাভাবিক রক্তচাপ বয়স ও উচ্চতার ওপর নির্ভর করে।
- শিশুর জন্য কোন রিডিং স্বাভাবিক, তা চিকিৎসক নির্ধারণ করবেন।
- রিডিং নিয়মিত লিখে রাখার পরামর্শ দেওয়া হয়েছে।
সংরক্ষণ
- ৩০°C-এর নিচে তাপমাত্রায় রাখুন।
- আলো ও আর্দ্রতা থেকে দূরে রাখুন।
- শিশুদের নাগালের বাইরে রাখুন।
