✔️ Indications:

Regrow is indicated for the treatment of androgenic alopecia in both males and females, helping to stabilize hair loss and treat alopecia areata.

✔️ Pharmacology

Minoxidil, the active ingredient in Regrow, stimulates hair growth by increasing the supply of oxygen, blood, and nutrients to hair follicles by widening blood vessels. It also inhibits the effect of androgen hormones on hair follicles. After topical application, about 1.4% of Minoxidil is absorbed through the scalp. Its absorption increases with higher doses, more frequent applications, and a compromised stratum corneum barrier. Most of the absorbed drug is eliminated within four days, primarily through urine.

✔️ Dosage & Administration of West Coast Regrow 2% Hair Regrowth Solution

Regrow is for external use only. Apply 1 ml (7 sprays) twice daily at 12-hour intervals to clean, dry scalp, focusing on the center of the affected area. The daily dose should not exceed 2 ml. For optimal results, leave the solution on the scalp for about 4 hours before washing. Avoid massaging the solution into the scalp, using a hair dryer, or mixing it with hair oil. If a dose is missed, continue with the next application. Hair growth may be evident after 4 months of consistent twice-daily use.

✔️ Interaction

Do not use Regrow with other topical agents that alter the stratum corneum barrier, such as tretinoin or dithranol, as this may increase absorption. Although not clinically proven, Regrow may potentially enhance orthostatic hypotension when combined with peripheral vasodilators.

• Regrow may cause scalp irritation. Discontinue use if irritation persists or worsens.
• Overuse may lead to increased systemic absorption, potentially causing cardiovascular effects such as fluid retention and tachycardia. Fluid retention can be managed with diuretics and tachycardia with beta-blockers. No known cases of overdose from topical application have been reported.
