Permisol Max is a combination of Permethrin and Crotamiton.
Permethrin is a stable synthetic pyrethroid with a wide range of insecticidal action and minimal toxicity in humans.
Crotamiton is effective for treating scabies and also relieves itchiness in various skin conditions.
Crotamiton penetrates the skin quickly. It shows low but measurable levels in plasma, peaking in 4–10 hours, and then quickly declining.

Some users may feel burning, stinging, or tingling shortly after application. Other temporary effects like redness, swelling, rash, or eczema may occur but are often part of the body’s reaction to the scabies infection itself.
Not recommended during pregnancy, especially the first trimester, due to limited safety data.
Unknown whether it passes into breast milk; avoid application to the nipple area while nursing.
Healthcare providers applying this regularly may wear gloves to prevent irritation.
Avoid eye contact; rinse immediately if it occurs.
Avoid using corticosteroids for eczema-like reactions before using this lotion, as they may reduce immune response and worsen scabies.
Do not use in individuals who are allergic to Permethrin, Crotamiton, other pyrethroids, or pyrethrins.
Store in a cool, dry place below 25°C, away from light.
Keep out of reach of children.
