Perme Less Lotion 80 ml is an antipruritic and scabicidal topical medication used primarily for the treatment of scabies, a contagious skin infestation caused by mites (Sarcoptes scabiei). The lotion works by eliminating the mites and their eggs, thereby relieving itching, irritation, and skin inflammation associated with the condition.

✔️ Most side effects are mild and temporary, including:
- Burning or stinging sensation at the application site
- Itching
- Redness (erythema)
- Dry skin
- Tingling or numbness (paresthesia)
- Rash or eczema
✔️ How to Use
- For external use only
- Apply exactly as directed by your physician
- Clean, dry, and cool the skin before application
- Apply to the entire body excluding the head, face, eyes, and mouth
- Avoid application near the eyes and mucous membranes
- The lotion should remain on the skin for 8–12 hours, after which the body should be washed thoroughly
- A cleansing bath is recommended 48 hours after the final application to remove residual medication
- After each application, change clothes, towels, and bed linens to prevent reinfestation
- Wash clothing and bedding in warm water
- Family members or close contacts may require preventive treatment due to the highly contagious nature of scabies

Adults:
Apply once
A second application may be given if necessary, not earlier than 7 days after the first application
Children:
2 months to 2 years: Apply to the whole body under medical supervision only
✔️ Mechanism of Action
Permethrin is a pyrethroid scabicide that causes paralysis and death of mites by disrupting sodium ion transport in nerve cell membranes
Crotamiton exhibits scabicidal and antipruritic activity against Sarcoptes scabiei and also acts as a pediculocide

Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and mucous membranes
Use with caution in patients with a history of asthma
Cross-sensitivity may occur in individuals allergic to ragweed or chrysanthemums
Consult a physician before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding
