Common—nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, headache, diarrhea, insomnia. Rarely—loss of libido or erectile dysfunction.

Adults (18–64): Start with 30 mg taken 1–3 hours before sexual activity; may increase to 60 mg if needed and well-tolerated. Maximum: once in 24 hrs. Take with or without food. Not for under 18s or those 65+. Use caution in mild/moderate kidney disease; avoid in severe kidney or liver impairment.
✔️ Interactions:
Use with caution alongside CNS-active drugs, PDE5 inhibitors (e.g., sildenafil, tadalafil), alpha-blockers (e.g., tamsulosin), warfarin, and alcohol (increases risk of dizziness, fainting). Avoid combining with recreational drugs, serotonergic agents, MAOIs, or thioridazine.
✔️ Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to dapoxetine, significant heart disease, use of MAOIs, thioridazine, SSRIs/SNRIs/TCAs, or serotonergic herbal products within the specified washout periods.
✔️ Warnings:
May cause syncope or orthostatic hypotension—orthostatic test recommended before starting. Caution in bleeding disorders or with anticoagulants/antiplatelets. Avoid alcohol and certain recreational drugs due to increased adverse effects.
✔️ Storage:
Store below 30°C, protected from light and moisture, out of children’s reach.
