Zinc is an essential trace element vital to various enzymatic functions. It supports healthy growth, immune function, insulin regulation, reproductive health, and sensory functions like taste, smell, and night vision. Zinc deficiency can impair immunity, delay wound healing, reduce taste and smell, cause night blindness, mental fatigue, skin disorders, hair loss, and affect reproductive organ development. Ziflu is used to treat zinc deficiency and conditions involving excessive loss of zinc. Deficiency may result from poor dietary intake or poor absorption, while zinc loss can occur due to burns, trauma, prolonged diarrhea, or protein-losing conditions. Supplementation with Ziflu is continued until symptoms improve. In cases of severe malabsorption or ongoing zinc loss, long-term use may be necessary.

Tablet: Adults: 40 mg Zinc 1-3 times daily.

- Zinc may reduce the absorption of tetracyclines, quinolones, and penicillamine when taken together.

Do not use in individuals with known hypersensitivity to any of the components in the formulation

Although zinc crosses the placenta and is present in breast milk, safety during pregnancy has not been fully established. Use only if needed and under medical supervision.
