The combination of Glucosamine and Chondroitin offers a synergistic effect, showing enhanced effectiveness in severe osteoarthritis cases by addressing symptoms and potentially slowing disease progression. This combination is comparable to NSAIDs in reducing osteoarthritis pain and shows superior tolerability and adherence. Additionally, it supports recovery during the healing phases of musculoskeletal soft tissue injuries, such as ligament or tendon strains.

✔️ Side Effects of Glustin PLUS

Research shows Glucosamine Sulfate and Chondroitin Sulfate are safe, with few to no side effects. In rare cases, mild and reversible gastrointestinal flatulence may occur, similar to placebo effects.

✔️ Dosage & Administration of Glustin PLUS

For 250 mg/200 mg tablets: Take 1-2 tablets three times a day, with adjustments based on the patient's response and weight. After 60 days, the dose may be tapered according to individual needs and cost considerations.

Typical dosing by body weight:

• Under 54 kg: 1000 mg Glucosamine Sulfate & 800 mg Chondroitin Sulfate daily
• Between 54 kg to 91 kg: 1500 mg Glucosamine Sulfate & 1200 mg Chondroitin Sulfate daily
• Over 91 kg: 2000 mg Glucosamine Sulfate & 1600 mg Chondroitin Sulfate daily

For 750 mg/600 mg tablets: Take 1 tablet twice daily or as directed by a physician.

✔️ Drug Interactions: Glustin PLUS

There are no known significant interactions between Glucosamine, Chondroitin, and other medications, including antibiotics, antidepressants, antihypertensives, nitrates, antiarrhythmics, anxiolytics, hypoglycemics, antisecretives, and antiasthmatics. However, Chondroitin may enhance the blood-thinning effects of anticoagulants like Warfarin and Heparin.

Glucosamine and Chondroitin are generally safe, though individuals with proven hypersensitivity, such as allergies to shellfish or sulfur, should avoid these supplements.

✔️ Pregnancy & Lactation: Glustin PLUS

Women who are pregnant or planning to become pregnant should avoid using Glucosamine Sulfate or Chondroitin Sulfate, as the effects on fetal development are not well-studied. Likewise, these supplements should be taken only under medical guidance during breastfeeding.

✔️ Precautions & Warnings

Individuals with diabetes should monitor blood glucose levels regularly while using Glucosamine. Although no specific studies have been conducted on patients with renal or hepatic impairments, the pharmacological profile suggests no major restrictions. Patients with severe renal or hepatic insufficiency should use these supplements only with appropriate medical supervision. Glucosamine and Chondroitin are not recommended for children.
