Capitis 10 contains flunarizine, a medication primarily used to prevent migraine headaches and manage certain balance-related disorders. It is a preventive treatment and does not provide relief during an active migraine attack. Regular use helps reduce the frequency and severity of migraine episodes by stabilizing blood vessel function in the brain.
Migraine attacks are believed to be associated with abnormal widening of blood vessels in the brain. Flunarizine helps maintain normal blood vessel tone and prevents excessive dilation, thereby reducing the likelihood of migraine attacks. It also possesses calcium-channel-blocking and antihistamine (H1-receptor-blocking) properties, which contribute to its therapeutic effects.

- Do not use it to treat a migraine that has already started.
