✅ Description:
- Salicylic Acid in Kerasol has a potent keratolytic action, which means it helps peel off the outer layer of the skin, particularly in conditions like warts and psoriasis.
- At low concentrations, Salicylic Acid promotes normal keratinization, and at higher concentrations, it causes the shedding of the skin.
- It works by increasing hydration in the skin, which leads to softening and desquamation (shedding) of the skin.
- Salicylic Acid also has weak antifungal and antibacterial properties.

✔️ 6% Kerasol: Used to treat scaly conditions, including:
- Chronic atopic dermatitis
- Lichen simplex
- Psoriasis
- Seborrhoeic dermatitis

✔️ 6% & 12% Salicylic Acid: Dosage
- Apply once daily to the affected area. Hydrate the area for 5 minutes before applying the medication. Occlude the area at night, then wash off in the morning.
- An overdose of Kerasol is unlikely, but if ingested or a significant overdose occurs, immediate medical attention is required.
