Rosuva EZ 20/10 Tablet is used for the management of dyslipidaemia (high cholesterol levels). Dyslipidaemia occurs when unhealthy amounts of fats (lipids), such as cholesterol and triglycerides, accumulate in the blood, increasing the risk of cardiovascular disease.
Rosuva EZ 20/10 Tablet is a fixed-dose combination of rosuvastatin and ezetimibe, which work together to lower cholesterol levels effectively:
Rosuvastatin reduces cholesterol production by inhibiting specific liver enzymes responsible for cholesterol synthesis.
Ezetimibe decreases dietary and biliary cholesterol absorption from the intestines.
This dual mechanism results in a more significant reduction in total cholesterol, LDL-cholesterol, and other harmful lipids.
Some patients may experience mild to moderate side effects, including:
Most side effects are temporary and resolve on their own. If symptoms persist or worsen, consult a healthcare professional.
