Ovario tablets are generally well-tolerated when taken at the recommended dose. Occasionally, side effects such as nausea, diarrhea, and flatulence may occur.
Ovario contains D-chiro-inositol, a naturally occurring isomer of inositol derived from the Carob (Ceratonia siliqua) pod, along with Myo-inositol. This combination helps correct hormonal imbalances, regulate menstrual cycles, and promote ovulation. It decreases levels of prolactin, testosterone, and luteinizing hormone (LH) while balancing follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and LH. This combination enhances insulin sensitivity, increases estrogen levels, and reduces oxidative stress in ovarian follicles. As a result, it supports follicular development, improves egg quality, and restores ovulation to improve fertility. It also helps prevent gestational diabetes and reduces PCOS-related symptoms.
The recommended dosage is 2 tablets daily, or as directed by a physician. Treatment should last for at least 3 months or as advised by the doctor.
Patients with known hypersensitivity to D-chiro-inositol or Myo-inositol should avoid this medication.
Limited information is available regarding the use of Ovario tablets in patients with liver or hepatic impairment. Patients with such conditions should consult their doctor before use.
Store at temperatures below 30°C in a dry place, protected from light. Keep out of reach of children.
