• Nausea, vomiting
• Headache
• Rash
• Visual disturbances
• Abnormal liver function tests

Others:

• Hallucinations
• Slow or irregular heart rate
• Fever, chills
• Electrolyte imbalance

Serious (Rare):

• Liver toxicity
• Renal impairment
• Cardiac arrhythmias

✔️ Dosage & Administration of Vori 200mg/ml IV Injection

• Administer as directed by a physician
• For IV use: Infuse over 1–2 hours, not exceeding 3 mg/kg/hour
• Oral form (if used): swallow whole, do not crush or chew
• Should be taken on an empty stomach (at least 1 hour before or after meals)

Adult Dose:

• Loading dose: 6 mg/kg IV every 12 hours (first 24 hours)
• Maintenance dose: 4 mg/kg IV every 12 hours or 200 mg orally twice daily

Hepatic Impairment:

• Mild to moderate: standard loading dose, reduce maintenance dose by 50%

Pediatric Use:

• <12 years: safety not established
• ≥12 years: same dosing as adults, depending on indication

• Pregnancy: Avoid unless absolutely necessary
• Lactation: Use only if benefits outweigh risks
• Elderly: Use with caution
• Renal/Hepatic impairment: Dose adjustment and monitoring required

• May increase levels of:
  • Oral anticoagulants

  • Rifampicin, carbamazepine, phenobarbital
  • High-dose efavirenz or ritonavir
• Increased risk of serious arrhythmias with QT-prolonging drugs

• Concomitant use with certain drugs such as:
