Cistor is a chemotherapy medicine used for:
- Metastatic testicular cancer (in combination therapy)
- Metastatic ovarian cancer (with other drugs like cyclophosphamide or as second-line therapy)
- Advanced bladder cancer (as a single agent)
- Non-small cell lung cancer (in combination with other chemotherapy drugs)
✔️ Dosage & Administration
- Given as a slow intravenous (IV) infusion
- Should not be administered rapidly
- Avoid using equipment containing aluminum
Typical dosing:
- Testicular cancer: 20 mg/m² daily for 5 days per cycle
- Ovarian cancer: 75–100 mg/m² every 4 weeks (with cyclophosphamide)
- Bladder cancer: 50–70 mg/m² every 3–4 weeks
- Lung cancer: 75 mg/m² with paclitaxel every 3 weeks
Dosage must always be determined by a specialist.
