Hi-Flow D (400mcg+500mcg) Capsule

✔️ How to Take Hi-Flow D

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
• Swallow the capsule whole with water.
• Do not crush, chew, or open the capsule.
• It may be taken with or without food, but it is best taken at the same time each day.
• For optimal results, continue taking the medication regularly, even if symptoms improve.

Improvement in symptoms may take up to 4 weeks. Consult your doctor if symptoms persist or worsen after this period.

Common side effects may include:

• Erectile dysfunction (impotence)

• Breast tenderness or enlargement
• Dizziness

✔️ Hi-Flow D combines two active ingredients that work through different mechanisms:

Tamsulosin

Tamsulosin is a selective alpha-1 adrenergic blocker. It relaxes the muscles in the prostate, bladder neck, and urinary tract, making it easier to pass urine and improving urinary flow.

Dutasteride

Dutasteride is a 5-alpha-reductase inhibitor. It reduces the production of dihydrotestosterone (DHT), a hormone responsible for prostate growth, helping to gradually shrink the enlarged prostate.

✔️ Do not use Hi-Flow D if you:

• Are allergic to Tamsulosin, Dutasteride, or any component of the product
• Have severe liver impairment
• Are pregnant or breastfeeding
• Are a child or adolescent

✔️ Tell your doctor about all medications you are taking, especially:

Medicines that may increase Tamsulosin levels:

• Fluoxetine
• Ketoconazole
• Cimetidine

Medicines that may increase Dutasteride levels:

• Ritonavir
• Ketoconazole
• Verapamil
• Diltiazem
• Cimetidine
• Troleandomycin
• Ciprofloxacin

✔️ Use with caution if you have:

• Low blood pressure
• Liver disease
• Kidney disease

Additional precautions:

• Prostate cancer should be ruled out before starting treatment.
• Dutasteride may be present in semen; condom use is recommended if your partner is pregnant or may become pregnant.
• Women of childbearing age should avoid contact with leaking capsules.
• Blood donation should be avoided during treatment and for at least 6 months after stopping the medication.
• Inform your eye surgeon if you are scheduled for cataract or glaucoma surgery.

1. Avoid excessive alcohol consumption, as it may increase dizziness.
2. Rise slowly from sitting or lying positions to reduce the risk of fainting or light-headedness.
3. Do not drive or operate machinery until you know how the medication affects you.

If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next scheduled dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not take two doses at the same time to make up for a missed dose.
