Dilbro UniCap is indicated as a bronchodilator therapy for the symptomatic management of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It helps improve airflow by relaxing airway muscles, thereby easing breathing and reducing symptoms such as cough, wheezing, and shortness of breath.
Dilbro UniCap contains a combination of two active agents:
- Indacaterol: A long-acting β2-agonist (LABA) that stimulates adenyl cyclase, increasing cyclic AMP levels and resulting in relaxation of bronchial smooth muscle.
- Glycopyrronium: A long-acting muscarinic antagonist (LAMA) that blocks acetylcholine activity, leading to bronchodilation and reduced airway secretions.
