✔️ Revocit is prescribed for:

1. Managing Serum Phosphorus Levels: In adult patients with chronic kidney disease undergoing dialysis.
2. Treating Iron Deficiency Anemia: In adult patients with chronic kidney disease not on dialysis.

✔️ For Hyperphosphatemia in CKD Patients on Dialysis:

• Starting dose: 2 tablets, taken orally three times daily with meals.
• Adjust the dose by 1–2 tablets as needed to maintain target serum phosphorus levels, with a maximum of 12 tablets per day.
• Dosage can be modified at weekly intervals or longer.

✔️ For Iron Deficiency Anemia in CKD Patients Not on Dialysis:

• Starting dose: 1 tablet, taken orally three times daily with meals.
• Adjust the dose to achieve and maintain hemoglobin goals, up to a maximum of 12 tablets per day or as directed by a physician.

✔️ Use in Children and Adolescents:

Safety and efficacy have not been established for pediatric or adolescent patients.

✔️ Common side effects may include:

• Discolored stool
• Diarrhea or constipation
• Nausea and vomiting
• Abdominal pain
• Cough
• Hyperkalemia

✔️ Use During Pregnancy and Lactation

• Iron absorption from Revocit can cause excessive iron accumulation, leading to elevated serum ferritin and transferrin saturation (TSAT) levels. Dose adjustments or discontinuation of IV iron may be necessary.
• Accidental overdose of iron-containing products is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in children under 6 years of age. Store Revocit out of reach of children. In case of accidental overdose, seek immediate medical attention.
