Sneezing, nasal discharge and itching, congestion or stuffiness, as well as ocular itching, tearing and redness, itching of the palate, and coughing are all symptoms linked with seasonal and persistent allergic rhinitis. The main active metabolite of Loratadine, desloratadine, is a non-sedating, long-acting tricyclic histamine antagonist with selective H1-receptor antagonist action. Neocilor also stops human mast cells from releasing histamine.
