Description:

  • Alatrol Paediatric Drops 15ml comes to the anti-histamine or anti-allergic drug family. It includes cetirizine, which is mainly used to treat allergies. An allergy is a reaction of your immune system to a foreign material that is usually not damaging to your body. These alien substances are referred to as 'allergens.' Allergic reactions differ from person to person. Some people may be sensitive to certain foods or suffer from seasonal allergens such as hay fever. Others, on the other hand, may be sensitive to pollen or canine dander. Alatrol Paediatric Drops  15ml includes cetirizine (anti-histamine), which is used to treat allergens by blocking the effects of a chemical messenger called "Histamine," which is inherently implicated in allergy responses.
  • Alatrol Paediatric Drops 15ml is also used to treat hay fever (seasonal allergic rhinitis), year-round dust or cat allergens (perennial allergic rhinitis), and urticaria. (swelling, redness, and itchiness of the skin). In brief, it alleviates the pain and disagreeable symptoms caused by allergic conditions, such as blocked/runny/itchy nostrils, red/watery eyes, and skin rashes. Take Alatrol Paediatric Drops precisely as directed by your doctor.
  • Alatrol Paediatric Drops can make you feel drowsy and fatigued. As a precaution, keep your kid away from activities that demand full focus (such as running, playing, or riding a bike).
  • Other frequent adverse effects of Alatrol Paediatric Drops include dry lips, headache, fatigue, weakness, and sore neck. Consult your doctor if your kid is experiencing any of these adverse effects.

Pharmacology

Cetirizine HCl is a powerful H1 receptor blocker with no anticholinergic or antiserum effects. It creates almost no drowsiness and causes no behavioral alterations at the pharmacologically active dose level. It suppresses the early stages of histamine-mediated allergy responses while also reducing inflammatory cell migration and the release of mediators associated with the later stages of allergic reactions. Cetirizine 10 milligrams achieves a maximal plasma concentration of 257 mcg/L (980 mcg/L in children) within 1 hour of administration. Food does not affect the rate of assimilation, but it can marginally slow it down. A maximal blood concentration of 0.3 g/ml was achieved between 30 and 60 minutes after a 10 mg dosage of cetirizine was administered. It has a plasma half-life of about 11 hours. The transition from one subject to the next is very constant. It has a kidney clearance rate of 30 ml/min and an elimination half-life of about 9 hours.
