Saniscrub Skin Cleanser is a rapid-acting, broad-spectrum antimicrobial solution used for effective disinfection. It is designed to reduce microbial load on the skin, hands, wounds, and surgical instruments, helping to prevent infection in clinical and procedural settings.
Saniscrub is intended for topical use only. It is applied directly to the skin, instruments, or dressings as required. The method of application may vary depending on the purpose of use.
Disinfection of the hands of doctors, nurses, and healthcare personnel before surgical procedures or after contact with contaminated materials
Preoperative skin antisepsis prior to surgery or invasive procedures
Disinfection of surgical instruments
Cleaning and disinfection of wounds and wound dressings
Hand disinfection:
Apply approximately 3 mL and scrub all surfaces of both hands thoroughly until dry.
Disinfection of surgical instruments:
Place approximately 5 mL of solution into a clean container and immerse the instruments for 2 minutes.
Preoperative skin disinfection:
Using sterile cotton, apply approximately 3 mL to the skin and scrub until dry.
Wound or wound dressing disinfection:
Apply approximately 3 mL to cotton and gently cleanse the wound area until dry.
Dosage in children should be determined based on age and clinical need, with smaller amounts generally required for younger patients.
As Saniscrub is used topically, it is not expected to affect renal function, and no dose adjustment is necessary in patients with renal impairment.
Saniscrub should not be used in individuals with known hypersensitivity to chlorhexidine gluconate or any of the formulation components.
Pregnancy: Considered safe for use
Lactation: Safety has not been fully established; use with caution
Chlorhexidine is incompatible with soaps and other anionic agents
Hypochlorite-containing bleaches may cause brown staining of fabrics previously exposed to chlorhexidine solutions
Avoid contact with the eyes, brain, meninges, middle ear, or other sensitive tissues
