Betamethasone and Neomycin are the two medications found in Betson-N Cream. A steroid drug is Betamethasone. This medication is particularly effective in treating moist skin ulcers.

Dosage of Betson-N Cream

• Use in Adults: This preparation should be applied to the affected parts of the skin as a thin layer 3 to 4 times daily. In chronic conditions, withdrawal of treatment is carried out by decreasing the frequency of application until the cream is applied as infrequently as once a week. Or as directed by the physician.
• Use in children: Do not use it on children under 1 year of age. A course of treatment for a child should not normally last more than 5 days unless otherwise stated by your physician.

Interaction

• Betson-N Cream may interact with Neuromuscular blocking agents, anti-HIV/AIDS drugs (ritonavir), and antifungals (itraconazole).
• Betamethasone and Neomycin Sulphate Cream have been found to have no significant drug interactions.

Contraindications

Patients who are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients in this preparation should avoid it. When the eardrum is punctured, it should not be used to treat otitis externa. It should not be used to treat skin lesions caused by viruses or fungi.

Pregnancy & Lactation

• This medicine should not be used often during pregnancy.
• Betson-N Cream is considered safe to be used during breastfeeding. Short-term application of this medicine may not cause any harm to your infant. However, consult your doctor before using this medicine.

Precautions & Warnings

• If you have a history of dehydration issues, cataract or glaucoma, diabetes, gastrointestinal disorders, osteoporosis (weak and brittle bones), hearing issues, chronic leg ulcers, liver or kidney disease, or allergic reactions to steroid medications and antibiotics, inform your doctor before using Betson-N Cream.
• Considering that Betson-N Cream 10gm can easily catch fire and burn, stay away from bare flames and from smoking.
• Avoid using Betson-N Cream on open wounds, blisters, blemishes, and sunburns.
• After using Betson-N Cream 10gm, wait at least 3 hours before washing the treated areas.
• If you are expecting or nursing, talk to your doctor.
• If prescribed by a doctor, Betson-N Cream is indicated for kids older than two.
• Long-term topical therapy with this formulation should be avoided because it may result in the development of many resistant microorganisms. As a result, only use a precise dose of this preparation in contaminated areas.
