Betnovate N Cream is composed of two medicines: betamethasone and neomycin.
• Betamethasone belongs to the class of corticosteroids. It blocks the production of prostaglandins (chemical messengers) that make the affected area red, swollen, and itchy.
• Neomycin is an aminoglycoside antibiotic that prevents bacteria from synthesising essential proteins required to carry out vital functions.
• It has broad-spectrum activity against aerobic gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria.

✔️ Directions for Use:
- Betnovate N Cream is for external use only.
- It is recommended to apply Betnovate N Cream 2-3 times daily or as directed by your doctor.
- Apply a thin layer of Betnovate N Cream with clean and dry hands on the affected areas of the skin. You can also apply it with a piece of clean cotton wool or gauze swab. Gently rub the medicine into the skin until it has disappeared.
- Wash your hands before and after applying Betnovate N Cream on the affected areas unless the treatment is for the hands.
- If Betnovate N Cream accidentally comes in contact with your eyes, mouth, or nose, rinse with water thoroughly.
✔️ Precautions & Warnings
- Before using Betnovate N Cream, let your doctor know if you have a history of dehydration problems, cataracts or glaucoma, diabetes, gastrointestinal diseases, osteoporosis (weak and brittle bones), hearing problems, chronic leg ulcers, liver and kidney diseases, or allergic reactions to steroid medicines and antibiotics.
- Avoid smoking or going near naked flames since Betnovate N Cream can catch fire and burn easily.
- Avoid applying Betnovate N Cream on sunburns, lesions, blisters, and open wounds. Do not wash the treated areas for at least 3 hours after applying Betnovate N Cream.
- Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Betnovate N Cream is recommended for children above two years of age if prescribed by a doctor.
