✔️ Role of Vitamin C:

• Maintains the health of skin, cartilage, teeth, bone, and blood vessels.
• Protects body cells from damage as an antioxidant.
• Corrects Vitamin C deficiency.
• Alleviates symptoms of scurvy.
• Boosts the immune system.
• Supports defense against flu and seasonal allergies.

✔️ Possible Side Effects:

• Common: Diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, abdominal cramps/pain, or heartburn.
• Serious: Painful urination, pink/bloody urine.
• Very rare: Severe allergic reactions (rash, itching/swelling, severe dizziness, trouble breathing).

✔️ How to Use Ascorbic Acid:

• Take by mouth with or without food, usually 1 to 2 times daily.
• Follow product package directions or as directed by your doctor.
• Extended-release capsules should be swallowed whole; do not crush or chew.
• If using wafers, chewable tablets, or lozenges, follow specific instructions.
• Measure liquid doses carefully with a special measuring device/spoon.

✔️ Missed Dose:

• Take the missed doses as soon as remember.
• If near the next dose, skip the missed one; do not double the dose.

✔️ Dosage & Administration for Multivitamin Syrup with Cod Liver Oil:

• 1-12 Months: 2.5 ml (½ teaspoon) daily
• 1-4 Years: 5 ml (1 teaspoon) daily
• 4 years up: 7.5 ml (1½ teaspoon) daily
• Adult: 10 ml (2 teaspoons) daily.
• Can be taken with water or milk.

• May interfere with certain lab tests; inform lab personnel.
• Check for possible drug interactions with erythromycin, conjugated estrogens, sodium bicarbonate, chloramphenicol, etc.
