It is present in every cell of the body, with the highest requirements in metabolically active tissues like the heart, immune system, skeletal muscle, and gingiva. Dosage recommendations vary based on the condition being treated:

• Co-enzyme Q10 deficiency: 150 mg daily.
• Mitochondrial disorders: 150-160 mg, or 2 mg/kg/day.
