Oilatum Cream is indicated for the treatment of contact dermatitis, atopic eczema, senile pruritus, ichthyosis, and related dry skin conditions.
Light Liquid Paraffin and White Soft Paraffin create an emollient effect by forming a protective layer that reduces water loss through the skin, aiding in maintaining appropriate skin moisture levels. Polyvinyl pyrrolidone enhances the durability of the protective film formed by the oil on the skin.
Use as needed, particularly after washing. Apply with clean hands to affected areas and massage thoroughly. For optimal results, use in conjunction with Oilatum Junior Bath Formula. FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY.
No studies on drug interactions have been performed with topical Oilatum Cream. Due to its low systemic absorption, the likelihood of drug interactions is minimal.
Avoid use in individuals with known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.
Pregnancy: There is insufficient data regarding the use of topical Oilatum Cream in pregnant women. Minimal systemic exposure to WSP-LLP is expected, making any effects during pregnancy unlikely.
Lactation: The excretion of Oilatum Cream in human milk is not established. Since systemic exposure is minimal, the risk to the infant is low. Patients are advised to ensure complete removal of any residual product before breastfeeding.
For external use only.
Store below 25ºC, avoiding freezing. Keep out of reach of children.
