T Mycin Plus 0.1%+0.3% Drop 5ml

✔️ T-Mycin Plus is used to treat:

• Steroid-responsive inflammatory conditions affecting the conjunctiva, cornea, and anterior segment of the eye when bacterial infection is present.
• Chronic anterior uveitis, when prescribed by an ophthalmologist.
• Eye inflammation associated with chemical, radiation, or thermal burns, or injury caused by foreign bodies, when appropriate.
• Inflammatory eye conditions where the risk of superficial bacterial infection is high.

✔️ T-Mycin Plus should not be used in patients with:

• Hypersensitivity to Tobramycin, dexamethasone, or any component of the product.
• Herpes simplex keratitis, including dendritic keratitis.
• Certain other viral infections of the cornea or conjunctiva, including vaccinia and varicella.
• Mycobacterial infections of the eye.
• Steroid-containing eye medicines may worsen certain untreated viral or fungal eye infections.

✔️ Pregnancy & Lactation

Pregnancy: Adequate controlled studies in pregnant women are lacking. Use only when the expected benefit outweighs the potential risk, following medical advice.

Breastfeeding: It is not known whether sufficient amounts of the corticosteroid enter breast milk after ophthalmic use. Consult a doctor before using this medicine while breastfeeding.

✔️ Interaction

Specific interaction studies with T-Mycin Plus eye drops have not been conducted.

If using other topical eye medicines, leave an interval of at least 10 minutes between successive applications, unless your ophthalmologist advises otherwise. Eye ointments are generally applied after eye drops.

✔️ Safety Information:

• Use only after an eye specialist has assessed the condition.
• Prolonged use may increase intraocular pressure, cause glaucoma or cataracts, and delay healing.
• Long-term treatment may encourage the growth of resistant bacteria or fungi.
• Consider the possibility of a fungal infection if symptoms persist or worsen during treatment.
• Stop using the medicine and seek medical advice if an allergic reaction develops.
• Cross-sensitivity with other aminoglycoside antibiotics may occur.
• Do not use the product for longer than prescribed or share it with others.

✔️ Side Effects:

• Itching or irritation of the eyelids
• Eyelid swelling
• Redness of the conjunctiva
• Local allergic reactions
• Increased pressure inside the eye, potentially leading to glaucoma
• Delayed wound healing
• Posterior subcapsular cataract formation with prolonged use

✔️ Eye Drops

• Instill 1 drop into the affected eye's conjunctival sac 3–5 times daily, or as directed by an ophthalmologist.
• In some cases, the doctor may prescribe 1 drop every 2 hours during the first 24–48 hours, depending on the severity of the condition.

✔️ Storage:

• Store at room temperature according to the product label.
• Close the bottle or tube immediately after use.
• Do not use the product for longer than one month after opening, if this matches the manufacturer's instructions.
• Keep out of reach of children.
