10ml Drops, Generic Name: Sodium Cromoglycate 2%
Sodium Cromoglicate Drops is used in the allergic conditions of the eye including acute and chronic allergic conjunctivitis and vernal keratoconjunctivitis.
It is also used in the prophylaxis and treatment of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis. Prophylactic treatment for seasonal allergic rhinitis should begin 2 to 3 weeks before exposure to the offending allergen and should continue throughout the season.

Side effects: Mild throat irritation, coughing, & transient bronchospasm with a marked fall in pulmonary functions has been reported. In such cases treatment should be stopped and should not be re-introduced.
