Emego Plus is a combination medication containing Meclizine and Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine). It is commonly prescribed to manage vertigo, motion sickness, and symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, dizziness, and light-headedness. It is also used to relieve morning sickness during pregnancy, radiation-induced sickness, and nausea caused by certain medications, including oral contraceptives and estrogen preparations.
Take Emego Plus exactly as directed by your healthcare provider. The dosage and duration of treatment depend on your medical condition and response to therapy. Swallow the tablet whole without crushing, chewing, or breaking it. The medicine can be taken with or without food, although taking it at the same time each day is recommended. For pregnancy-related nausea, it may be advised to take it on an empty stomach with water.
Continue using the medication for the full duration prescribed. Stopping treatment prematurely may cause symptoms to return or worsen.

Emego Plus combines two active ingredients that help control nausea and dizziness:
- Meclizine is an antihistamine that blocks the effects of histamine, a chemical involved in triggering nausea, vomiting, and dizziness. It also reduces activity in the vestibular system of the inner ear, helping control vertigo and motion sickness.
- Pyridoxine (Vitamin B6) is a water-soluble vitamin known for its anti-nausea effects and its role in the metabolism of carbohydrates, proteins, and fats. It is also important for hemoglobin production and normal nervous system function.

Recommended Dosage
Adults

- Vertigo and vestibular disorders: 25–100 mg of Meclizine daily in divided doses. Treatment should be discontinued if no improvement is seen after 1–2 weeks.
- Radiation sickness: 50 mg of Meclizine taken 2–12 hours before radiation therapy.
- Pyridoxine: Generally effective at doses ranging from 50–200 mg per day.
Children
- Safety and effectiveness in children under 12 years of age have not been established.
