Etovan 60mg Tablet 1 Strip

✔️ Etovan 60 is used for:

• Osteoarthritis
• Rheumatoid arthritis
• Ankylosing spondylitis
• Acute gouty arthritis

✔️ Dosage and Administration

The dosage depends on the condition being treated and the patient's response to therapy.

• Osteoarthritis: 30 mg once daily; the dose may be increased to 60 mg once daily if necessary.
• Rheumatoid arthritis: 90 mg once daily.
• Ankylosing spondylitis: 90 mg once daily.
• Acute gouty arthritis: 120 mg once daily for a maximum of 8 days.
• Dental surgery pain: 90 mg once daily for a maximum of 3 days.

Take Etovan 60 exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow the tablet whole without crushing, chewing, or breaking it. It can be taken with or without food, preferably at the same time each day.

✔️ Side Effects of Etovan 60

Common and possible side effects include:

• Stomach pain and diarrhoea
• Swelling due to fluid retention (oedema)
• Headache and dizziness
• Increased blood pressure
• Palpitations or irregular heartbeat
• Fatigue and indigestion

✔️ Precautions and Warnings

• Inform your doctor if you have high blood pressure, heart disease, kidney or liver problems, or a history of stomach ulcers or gastrointestinal bleeding.
• Monitor your blood pressure regularly during treatment.
• Avoid taking Etovan 60 with other NSAIDs unless specifically advised by your doctor.
• Inform your doctor about all medicines you take, especially anticoagulants, lithium, diuretics, ACE inhibitors, and angiotensin II receptor blockers.
• Long-term treatment may require periodic kidney and liver function tests.
• Etovan 60 may cause dizziness or fatigue. Avoid driving if affected.
• Avoid excessive alcohol consumption, which may increase the risk of gastrointestinal complications and dizziness.

✔️ Contraindications

Etovan 60 should not be used in patients with hypersensitivity to etoricoxib, active peptic ulcers or gastrointestinal bleeding, severe kidney or liver impairment, uncontrolled hypertension, certain cardiovascular or cerebrovascular diseases, severe heart failure, or inflammatory bowel disease. It is contraindicated in children under 16 years of age.

✔️ Pregnancy and Breastfeeding

Etovan 60 is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Women who are pregnant, planning to conceive, or breastfeeding should consult their physician before using this medicine.

Store below 30°C, protected from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
