Resmetirom একটি থাইরয়েড হরমোন রিসেপ্টর-বেটা (THR-β) অ্যাগোনিস্ট। এটি লিভারে THR-β সক্রিয় করে লিভারের অতিরিক্ত চর্বি (ট্রাইগ্লিসারাইড) কমাতে সাহায্য করে, ফলে NASH-এর অগ্রগতি নিয়ন্ত্রণে সহায়তা করে।

Gemfibrozil-এর মতো শক্তিশালী CYP2C8 ইনহিবিটরের সাথে ব্যবহার সুপারিশকৃত নয়।
Clopidogrel-এর সাথে ব্যবহার করলে Rezim-এর ডোজ কমাতে হতে পারে।
Cyclosporine-এর মতো OATP1B1/OATP1B3 ইনহিবিটরের সাথে একত্রে ব্যবহার এড়ানো উচিত।
Rosuvastatin, Simvastatin, Atorvastatin ও Pravastatin-এর রক্তের মাত্রা বাড়াতে পারে, তাই ডোজ সমন্বয় প্রয়োজন হতে পারে।

ডোজ রোগীর ওজনের উপর নির্ভর করে:

১০০ কেজির কম ওজন: ৮০ মি.গ্রা. দিনে ১ বার
১০০ কেজি বা তার বেশি ওজন: ১০০ মি.গ্রা. দিনে ১ বার

খাবারের সাথে বা খাবার ছাড়া সেবন করা যায়।

শিশুদের ক্ষেত্রে: নিরাপত্তা ও কার্যকারিতা প্রতিষ্ঠিত নয়।
