Carnovas HZ 5/12.5 Tablet is an antihypertensive medicine. It contains two medicines, namely, nebivolol and hydrochlorothiazide. Nebivolol works by blocking the actions of certain chemical messengers (such as adrenaline) in the body that increase heart rate and blood pressure.
Hydrochlorothiazide works by reducing the thickness of the blood by removing excess fluids from the body in the form of urine. Collectively, these actions improve blood flow, reduce the strain on the heart, and help the heart to pump more blood with less pressure.
Before using Carnovas HZ 5/12.5 Tablet, inform your doctor if you have liver disease, kidney disease, eye problem (glaucoma), asthma, increased uric acid level (gout), diabetes, hyperlipidemia (increased level of lipid), or hyperthyroidism (increased level of thyroid).
