How Pantonix 40mg Tablet works?

An inhibitor of the proton pump is Pantonix 40mg Tablet. By blocking the proton pump protein membrane H+K+Atpase from moving across the stomach lining, it lowers gastric acid secretion. As a result, it repairs existing ulcers and esophageal lesions, prevents ulcers from getting worse, and relieves uncomfortable GI tract symptoms. (such as acidity, heartburn, and acid reflux).

Pharmacology

Dosage & Administration of Pantonix 40mg Tablet

Benign Stomach Ulcer:

• 40 mg once a day in the morning for 4 weeks, then continued if not entirely healed for an additional 4 weeks.

GERD: 

• 20–40 mg daily in the morning for four weeks, maintained for another four weeks if not totally resolved; maintenance dosage is 20 mg daily, which may be raised to 40 mg daily.

Duodenal Ulcer: 

• Take 40 mg every morning for two weeks, then take it again if necessary.

Helicobacter Pylori-related Duodenal Ulcer: 

• 40 mg of pantoprazole twice daily is advised in conjunction with the antibiotics listed below:
• For a week, use either Amoxycillin 1 g and Clarithromycin 500 mg twice daily, or Clarithromycin 250 mg and Metronidazole 400 mg twice daily.

Interaction

Iron supplements, blood thinners (clopidogrel, warfarin), antifungals (ketoconazole, voriconazole, itraconazole, posaconazole), anti-HIV medications (atazanavir, nelfinavir), antibiotics (ampicillin, rifampicin), heart medications (digoxin), and anti-cancer medications might all interact with pantone 40. Pregnancy & Lactation

Precautions & Warnings

• If you are allergic to Pantonix 40 or taking proton pump inhibitors, have stomach cancer, liver illness, low magnesium levels (osteoporosis), low vitamin B12 levels, are pregnant or planning a pregnancy, or are a nursing mother, you should not take Pantonix 40.
